the exam is an open book exam and it will be really distracting hearing people flapping pages of their books, what are good type of ear plugs to wear in this 2 hour 30 minutes open book exam for noise reduction. they have to be comfortable and NOT cause itching to ear that it would disturb one in exam situation, what kind of material ear plugs is best to wear for this purpose? rubber, foam, wax, silicon etc??? thanks for help

The squishy foam ones have always worked for me. The kind you squish to fit your ear canal, then they expand and block out virtually all noise. They did wonders for me when I lived in a thin-walled apartment with a roommate who snored at high decibels, lol
